One of the roles of the British Baseball Federation (as the National Governing Body of Baseball in Great Britain) is to organise and manage its national teams. Great Britain Baseball’s Mission is to Inspire, Develop and Perform (GB Way).

The divisions for the Great Britain National Baseball Teams are as follows (as of 2021):

U12 – for players born in the calendar years of 2009 and younger

U15 – for players born in the calendar years of 2006 and younger

U18 – for players born in the calendar years of 2003 and younger

U23 – for players born in the calendar years of 1998 and younger Seniors – this is the top division that competes in the elite competitions around the world, including the Olympics.

Women’s Baseball – for adult women

There will be tryouts prior to the 2022 tournaments for British passport holders who wish to make any of our respective national teams. These tryouts will be announced once dates are finalised.

If you have any questions about trying out or would like to know any other details, please contact Erik Gustafson at erik.gustafson@britishbaseball.org - Erik is our National Teams Programme Official, and he manages our GB Baseball Programme.
