Brian Lainoff | U15 and U23 Pitching Coach 

Brian Lainoff grew up in McLean, Virginia and played High School Baseball at Flint Hill HS (Oakton, VA USA) where he was a right-handed pitcher and first baseman for the varsity squad for all four years. He helped lead Flint Hill to three Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships

Brian spent his college years at Rhodes College (NCAA D-III, Memphis TN USA). Recruited as a pitcher in 2007, Brian red-shirted his freshman year to recover from right shoulder surgery and returned to pitch for the Rhodes College Lynx from 2009-2012. As Captain, Brian helped lead the Lynx to a 2nd place finish in the Southern Athletic Association in 2012. 

Following graduation, Brian moved to Rome, Italy and returned to baseball in 2013 upon his move to Bonn, Germany. Brian played for the Bonn Capitals (Bundesliga) from 2013-2016 as a spot starter and relief pitcher. After taking a year off and a move to London, Brian joined the London Mets, helping the Mets secure their 5th overall National Championship in 2018.

Brian holds a Masters in Philosophy in Conservation Leadership from the University of Cambridge and works at Botanic Gardens Conservation International (Richmond, UK). 

NOTE: The following age divisions exist in our British Baseball Federation National Teams: U12, U15, U18, U23 and Seniors. Our Seniors division is our top division which competes internationally in the WBC, is internationally ranked by the and is attempting to make the Olympics (Tokyo 2020).
