Triple -A Postseason

The Triple-AAA National Championship race starts on the 11th August and finishes on the weekend of  Sat 24 and Sun 25 August at Farnham Park (Slough). 

The regular season ends in August.  We moved up our NBC's for the NBL and Triple-A in August, in consideration, some of our Club players may be called up to take part in our National Teams which competes in early September.  Separately, we have scheduled to stream the NBC's through our YouTube Channel, said a spokesperson for the BBF. 

Triple-A NBC's format 

There are eight teams competing in the Triple-A Division: Richmond Knights, Essex Redbacks, Herts Londoners, Kent Buccaneers, Cartmel Valley Lions, East London Latin Boys, Oxford Kings, and London Mammoths. The Triple-A Postseason schedule is as follows (dates, start times etc subject to change): 

  • The Quarter Finals start on the 11th August between the 4th and 5th Place teams., from the regular season.  The mentioned will be seven-inning game. The location for the Quarter Finals is the home field for the fourth place seed (home team). The start time is 12:00 BST.  The winner of the 11th August is then considered the 4th Seed and advances to the next round. 
  • 24th August matches the 4th Seed (away team) vs Triple-A South First Place winner (home team). The action takes place at Farnham Park. The start time is scheduled for 12:00 BST. Followed by the Cartmel Lions (special bye from the north and considered the second seed) takes on the third-place seed team from the regular season. The start time is 15:00 BST.  Both games on the 24th August are 9 inning games. 
  • 25th August has the winners of the 24th to play against one another, starting at 15:00 in a nine-inning game.  The eventual winner will be crowned the National Champion for Triple-A Division. The mentioned game is scheduled to be streamed through our YouTube Channel, said a spokesperson for the BBF.
