The UK government has extended the COVID-19 lockdown for another three weeks. For the mentioned reason, the British Baseball Federation (BBF) will continue the postponement of all its Federation face-to-face activities which we expect our National Teams (GB Baseball), member clubs and the participants of our sport to observe. For example, face-to-face activities suspended:
- practises,
- social gatherings,
- meetings,
- games,
- leagues,
- friendlies,
- tournaments, and
- tryouts.
The above activities are suspended until the 11th May 2020.
While we know the above is disappointing, we hope you understand this is a necessary step to help keep each other safe during this pandemic.
In the interim, the BBF is working on possible scenarios of how to start activities once we get the all-clear from the UK government and health organisations.
We’ll update you with new information on or before 11th May 2020. We wish you and your families all the best.
