BBF National Baseball League Championship 24-25 Aug 2019

National Baseball League Championship

The National Baseball Championship for the National Baseball League (NBL) takes place on Sat 24 and Sun 25 August at Farnham Park (Slough). 

This year there are a total of four teams competing in top National Baseball League Division: 

  • Essex Arrows 
  • Herts Falcons
  • London Capitals 
  • London Mets 

The regular season ends in August, which upon completion will determine the seedings for the NBC's.  We moved up our NBC's for the NBL to August, in consideration, some of our Club players may be called up to take part in our National Teams which compete in early September.  Separately, we have scheduled to stream the NBC's through our YouTube Channel, said a spokesperson for the BBF. 

National Baseball League NBC's format 

The format for the NBL are as follows: 

Sat 24th August: Seed number four (away) plays against seed number one. The start time is scheduled for 12:00 BST, and it is a nine-inning game. Followed by seed number three, versus seed number two, starting at approximately 15:00 (subject to the end time of game one above), and a nine inning game. Winners from the mentioned both games advance to the Finals. 

25th August: The winner of game one above (seed four vs seed one) is the away team, and plays the winner of game two. The mentioned game is a nine-inning game and determines the National Champion.
